Berkeley Urgent Care

(510) 985-5000

Berkeley Urgent Care provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for medical issues that need prompt attention but are not life-threatening. A collaboration between John Muir Health and UCSF Health, our urgent care center is staffed by doctors who have immediate access to onsite specialists, imaging services and two laboratories.

While urgent care can handle many conditions, our providers may decide to transfer a patient to the emergency department if a life-threatening condition is suspected or if the patient's needs can be best met in the emergency care setting. Other conditions may require referral to a specialist or an appointment with the patient’s primary care provider.

If you think you might be experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
